jobs headlines 9/12 media event
August 31, 2006
MacBidouille has confirmed that Apple CEO Steve Jobs will indeed be addressing the gathered journalists at Apple’s European offices on Sept. 12, albeit by satellite from the company’s Cupertino headquarters rather than in person. This event is unrelated to the Apple Paris Expo, which also begins on the 12th but will not feature a keynote. Jobs is widely expected to announce an update to Intel’s new Core 2 Duo processors quite soon, and this event seems an obvious time for Apple to do so. Also possible are an iTunes movie store, potential iPod updates, and other vaguely mysterious and unknown revelations. I’ll be sure to keep you posted. Oh, and do forgive the rather infrequent updates over the last few days. Moving back to Penn has severely disrupted my schedule.
